PhoenixFD Texture can be found under 2D/3D Textures in the node creation dialog. It exports the channels of a selected Simulator node as procedural texture that can be used during rendering and simulation time. Using this component the user can shade the content in a non trivial way.

Aura Texture Component

Simulator Node simNode - The name of the PhoenixFD simulator node as a string.


Channel channel - The exported channel

 


Tiling tiling - How to proceed the sampling outside of the simulator box (when Auto Mapping is on) or the place3dTexture box otherwise.



Up Vector upVector - Allows to manually specify the up vector of the simulator (If it was created in 3ds Max for example).


Auto Mapping autoMapping - Allows automatic 3d mapping to the simulator's box (specified in Simulator Node), ignoring the place3dTexture node.


Skip Displacement skipDispl - When checked the content is sampled without fine displacement.
